Shekor Projukti (Root Technology) was invented and developed by Md. Ebad Ali, an agricultural technologist and agriculturist from Bangladesh. He introduced this concept with the aim of improving crop productivity by focusing on the root zone of plants, which plays a critical role in nutrient uptake, water absorption, and overall plant health.

Md. Ebad Ali’s innovation emphasizes scientific, practical, and sustainable agricultural practices. Shekor Projukti is especially effective for modern farming systems such as rooftop farming, research-based cultivation, and eco-friendly agriculture. By strengthening roots and improving soil–root interactions, this technology helps reduce dependency on excessive chemical inputs while increasing yield and resilience against environmental stress.
